As far as a magazine with a story on dwarf fortress.
I picked it up around 44.09? Inn the early 00s in Australia when PcPowerplay did a story and started including it on their cds. They mentioned their editor had a map printed out on the wall, from context I believe it was the seminal df story of magma and elephants, boatmurdered!
I had no internet back then, so I learnt to play buy going through the keybindings help menu…
Cool — I wonder if that’s the one Kiefer is thinking about… I’ll ask him if that sounds right. Ah, Boatmurdered!
