  1. André, whose Mooncanyon series you mentioned has a spanish language discord at https://discordapp.com/invite/2VyDJT9. There is an english section, too, but it’s primarily for building a spanish language community. André is bilingual (or maybe tri, he lives in Japan) and at least writes english very well. Anyway, great episode. Really glad to have this regular podcast about DF again!

    1. Thanks for tuning in, and dropping in the Mooncanyon’s Discord server. We’re happy to be providing some content – I feel fortunate to have such an easy basis for conversation. We’re having fun with it and doing the best we can – especially considering that none of us are experienced podcasters.

    1. It’s all good – but if you’re looking for natural “chapters” in his content, look to his playlists. And if you’re currently watching Honeystoker, I highly recommend “Stories from the Eternal Realms [Honeystoker Prelude]”

  2. First of all, I just wanted to say I enjoy your show. I’ve been trying to get back into Dwarf Fortress, but having very limited time to play it’s been hard.

I wanted to make a suggestion for the site. Could you add a page with an overview of all podcasts by title alone? And perhaps add a ‘previous’ and ‘next’ button somewhere near the top of each podcast page, as it took a while before I noticed these buttons existed way at the bottom of the page.

Looking forward to the next episode.

    1. Thanks Pifanjr – Glad to hear that you are enjoying the podcast. RE: site improvements, I’ll take a look and see what I can do. I’m also not a big fan of the homepage – Everything is too big and blocky and wastes a ton of screen-space. But the dfroundtable.com site is really nothing but a thrown up WordPress site that was a vehicle to get the podcast out on Apple, Google, Spotify, etc. I never expected anyone to actually come here for content.

The best I’m probably going to be able to do short term is to find a different free WordPress theme to replace the current one. I’ll look for one that has a better look and navigation. I really do appreciate the commentary and am glad you’re enjoying things.

      1. That makes sense. I don’t really listen to a lot of podcasts, so I don’t have a single platform through which I listen to them. I think I found this one through Google’s recommended articles.

I’m not sure if you have numbers about how many people listen to the podcast through the site vs. other channels, but if almost no one actually uses the site I wouldn’t worry too much about making it look good.

    1. Thank you for tuning in to our little show. Yeah, your 45 minute DF tutorial is great. I really think there can’t be enough DF tutorials out there – but I also like your long-form videos too. I look forward to your play-through when ToadyOne eventually drops the Villians Release!

    1. Cool! Thanks for checking in with us – Glad you’re enjoying things. We’ll give captnduck a shoutout next episode. I followed your link and saw that I’ve watched several of his videos at some point in the past. Pretty cool!

    2. Well crudmuffins… I wrote myself a note to give capnduck a shoutout this week and I failed to look at it during the session. I will be sure to do that next episode!
