This is what it looks like about 5 minutes after a substation explodes and causes a blackout. The picture does the event no justice – the color of the fire reminded me of an artifact made from cobaltite. This is one of the several reasons that episode 60 of Dwarf Fortress Roundtable will be delayed for a week, but I guess that’s the way it goes! Have a good week and unless more stuff goes haywire, we’ll get the episode to you next weekend!
In what is probably our most conversational episode yet, we talk a lot about fortresses that Tony and Jonathan are currently running.
Also, the featured image is an example of a dragon, as depicted by TSR Games’ Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual (1978)
Hey folks – the summer hiatus took a little longer than we expected, but we should be back with a new episode next Sunday, September 26th!
Hey folks – Summer hiatus starts today – hope you enjoy listening to Jonathan and Tony playing some DF 😀

This episode we talk a lot about tutorial videos and other resources to learn how to play and improve your Dwarf Fortress skillsets. Thanks again to Nathan for joining us for another episode.
This episode follows up a few threads from previous episodes. And we also cover some listener email and comments. It’s a bit shorter (and a bit more chaotic) than usual because due to scheduling issues, we recorded two episodes on the same day. Another consequence of this is that there will be no live-stream next week. But we should be back for another livestream recording on July 11th.
